The rapidconnect Attenuators from Anderson are used to reduce the transmitted power of a fibre optic system. Each rapidconnect attenuator is made with continuous light-absorbing and metal-ion doped fibre which provides excellent environmental stability and low back reflection.

Rapidconnect Attenuators cater specifically for Singlemode wavelengths of 1310nm and 1550nm and will suit most common applications. These attenuators are also polarization insensitive. A variety of attenuators are available in our stock range, with SC & LC being the most common types of connectors on the market today. Common attenuation ranges are usually 1dB to 20dB.
