Before any Fibre ends can be connected together, they first must under preparation through cleaning and cleaving. The many layers of jacketing protecting the Fibres must be removed. Then a lint-free wipe and isopropyl alcohol is utilized to cleanse the fibre. Only then can we cleave the fibre.Â
