An optional Black PE (Polyethylene) Sacrificial Sheath can be added when manufacturing the rapidconnect Mini Loose Tube Fibre Optic Cable. Â This is especially where the integrity of the Nylon Jacket must be retained. Additionally, Installation of the PE Sacrificial Sheath over the top of the Nylon Jacket in the manufacturing process and simply acts as an additional barrier. Henceforth this ensures that there is minimal damage to the Nylon Jacket.
All rapidconnect Loose Tube Fibre Optic Cables are available to be used as part of the rapidconnect 25 Year Enterprise Cabling Infrastructure System Warranty.Â
The bonded sheath consequently allows for a small, light-weight and flexible cable. This means that bending the cable is no issue as the thinner Nylon jacket prevents such an occurrence. As a result, termites will have a difficult time destroying our cables!
