GRP Armoured Rodent Proof Fibre Optic Cable

GRP Armoured Rodent Proof Fibre Optic Cable

The rapidconnect GRP Armoured cable from Anderson is the solution for many applications. The all dielectric design negates any issues concerning lightning strikes and and has high soil resistivity, rendering expensive and time-consuming earthing requirements redundant. The Dry Water Blocking prominent in our Loose Tube cables is also present here. Non-Wrinkling nylon also allows for a smaller, lighter and more flexible cable.

Description

Rodent Protection

The rapidconnect GRP Armoured Series cable uses Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) rods to fully armour the cable. As a result, it offers the robust protection needed to deter rodents

Termite Protection

A Blue outer Nylon Jacketing provides protection against termites. Additionally, it reduces friction during hauling between cable and ducts at the same time

Dry Water Blocking

Internal dry water blocking technology improves the working environment whilst simplifying the work site clean-up. Additionally Dry Water Blocking prevents water migration in the event of a breach in the sheath
