Description

Measure Complete Link Loss of a Fibre

By and large, the OTDR Launch Cable is deigned to be used in conjunction with an OTDR to measure complete link loss of a fibre. They are also know an pulse suppressor cables, launch cords, launch leads, receive cables or fibre rings

Discloses the Insertion Loss & Reflectance

A OTDR cable, which connects the OTDR to the link-under test, discloses the insertion loss and reflectance of the near-end connection. It is recommended that the cable be longer than the dead zone

Ideal for Fibre Network Test Applications

The shorter 100 metre lengths are ideal fibre network test applications. We can also manufacture Singlemode Cables of 500 to 1000 metres for broadband, long-haul fibre network test applications

The OTDR Launch Cable is your answer to connecting an OTDR to a suitable cable to carry out Test & Measurement analysis! A Launch cable is specifically used in conjunction with an OTDR to measure potential losses in a Fibre Cable. Additionally, they are offered in a variety of connector styles including: SC, ST, LC, FC and MTRJ.
